Today

Hello today we worked on our spelling tests. Then we learned about numbers and years. We played a memory game. The memory game was to find the matching numbers in writing and in numbers. After that we worked on our unit: Cultural Heritage. We choose a place and then we wrote how it should be explained. For example The Statue of Liberaty it is important because it is... There were 7 things that we had to describe the place. 

As homework today we have to work on our numbers. We have the fill the fill the placess acording to the explanation. The explanation is: There is a writing or a number. Let say there is a number then you must write the same number in writing. Have a nice day see you tomorrow.

Today

Today we worked in our groups. We collected ideas about what we should put on our board for eEnglish at the hallway. Some great ideas came up. Then we learned what skimming and scamming means. Then we looked at ancient sites and we explained it to our friends. Some groups choose to do a drama about there ancient site some just told the information.

As homework we have to write a chart about how our character changed in the story.We have to do it from our readers. Theres A Boy İn The Girls Bathroom readers have to do it about Jeff or Bradley. Ghost Town At Sundown people have to do it about Jack. Remember you must write some adjectives that describe tour character at before and after. like at before he was angry, at after he was happy. Today

Today we did our spelling test. we worked about what cause and effect is. We read 2 stories for our work about cause and effect. One was named The Best Mariachi In  The World. The other one was named 50 Below Zero. Then we filled a sheet about the stories we read. After that we learned our results at the test. 

 

As homework we have to make a chart about cause and effect. We did one at class too. But this time it has to be about the book thet we are reading whick are Theres A Boy In The Girls Bathroom or Ghost Town At Sundown. İt will bw more easier if you write your effect first. Have a nice day !!! :D

         Hello, today we worked on our essay booklets. We wrote our main subject and we brainstormed about what we could write. We had game time today it was called mirror mirror. We had lots of fun today. Don't forget there is a test this Friday. Well, today we have no homework. How to write a persuasive essay

Today we learnt about writing persuasive essays. Every persuasive essay must explain TWO sides of an argument. Here is one example from class today:

School Uniforms:
School uniforms are good because wearing a uniform means we are representing our school, when people on the street see us they will know we are from Enka. They are also a way to stop poor students from feeling embarrassed. If there were no uniforms at a school some students might laugh at other students because they don't have new clothes because they are poor. Having a uniform means these students won't get laughed at for being poor.
But school uniforms can be bad. It is often difficult to do some things in uniforms, they can be uncomfortable and they can stop us from expressing ourselves. If we can feel more comfortable in what we are wearing then we can focus on studying at school.
Our group's opinion is that we should be able to wear what we like, that way we can wear colorful clothes and school can be a happy place where we can express who we are by what we wear.

We first had a spelling test. Then,  we filled charts about school uniforms. After that, we wrote a
essays about the good and bad things about having uniforms.

Today we continued on our activity books (for ghost town readers.) and, continued on our summarys. (for boy in the girl's bathroom readers)

Today

Today we did our spelling test. We tried to write all 10 words correctly. We read our reader while we were waiting. Then we did some creative writing. We needed to use words like mother, child, hospital, carpet. Then we did a little reflection about how much we knew about Pakistan. After  thet we learned about a boy who lives in Pakistan and who is a debt slave. His name was Iqbal.

Also today is a homework day. for homework we have to write about how we could help other children keep their rights. And how children can use them. We have to give 10 solutions. Have a nice day!!!

This weekend our homework was:
Reading from chapter 7 to chapter 12 of 'Boy in the Girl's bathroom'.
Reading from chapter 3 to chapter 4 of 'Ghost-town at Sundown'.

Today

Today we read our reader. Theres A Boy İn The Girls Bathroom. We wrote a summary about the first 6 chapters by filling in the empty words. The Ghost Town At Sun Down readers started a new workbook.
